Our Process
Every project follows a three-step process: design, procure, build.
We do as well. We just do it better, by clarifying exactly what you can expect at every stage and delivering exactly what we say. No surprises & no regrets.
Design
1.
All the ideas and inspirational images come together in the design phase. Whether you have an architect, designer, or your own convictions to guide the design, we will take this to create a scope of work that is a match.
The more we can clarify together the better. Sometimes the design or architectural plans aren’t possible in the physical world. We produce solutions to bridge the imaginary design world to the one we inevitably have to live in.
Procurement
2.
We look at procurement, or purchasing, as another key to running the project smoothly. With the total material list we determine those critical components that can be ordered early from those that are readily available.
Further, many custom components, like countertops or glass doors to name a couple, simply cannot be fabricated early. In this regard we can reserve the selection & ensure our fabricators are on call.
Build
3.
Our building process isn’t beholden to a draw schedule or some arbitrary external factor. We build in a way that produces the best results.
There are many details that are project dependent, but we think about each trade and its’ contribution to the overall composition that at times require a circle back.
